SAKURA QUALITY is the name of the tourism quality certification system.

The cherry blossom, SAKURA QUALITY's logo, conveys our Japanese character to foreign guests and clearly indicates that it is a standard for the evaluation of excellence (Trademark Registration NO. 5540116, 5540117, and 2013-21530). The "SAKURA QUALITY" mark is given only to services which have undergone rigorous screening in two categories: "Accommodations" and "Others".

How Tourism Quality certificate works

Tourism quality certification is a system in which tourist services (for example, accommodations) are evaluated by a third party. In Japan, it is recognized that the constant improvement of sightseeing services is essential to business operators and the areas in which they operate.Customer surveys and on site inspections provide the basis for our quality evaluations.
