Duration: About 2.5hours
Get off at "Yuu Station" from a Kyushu Sanko bus heading Kurokawa Onsen. Take a taxi from the bus stop for about 20 minutes.
(Please contact us if you are guests staying at least as a group of 2 persons. We’ll pick you up at the "Yu Station" or "Kurokawa Onsen bus Stop" ).

Those coming by Express bus (from JR Kumamoto Station)

Duration: About 2 hours 45 minutes
Get on a Kyushu Sanko Kyushu crossing bus and get off at Kurokawa Onsen bus stop.
About 20 minutes by taxi from there. (We welcome you at Kurokawa Onsen bus stop)

Those coming by Express bus (from Kumamoto Airport)

Duration: About 2 hours
Get on a Kyushu Sanko Kyushu crossing bus and get off at Kurokawa Onsen bus stop.
(Travel time is about 2 hours , 2 buses a day)

In case coming by car

Access from Fukuoka Airport

Duration: About 1 hour 45 minutes
Drive with the City Expressway and the Kyushu Expressway, enters the Oita road from Tosu Interchange, and descends at kuju IC.
Toward the Housenji Onsen and Oguni, down south to National road No. 387.

Access from Kumamoto Station

Duration: About 2hours ~2.5 hours
National road No. 57 towards Aso.
Turn left at the intersection of route No. 212 in Aso city and head towards Uchinomaki Onsen and Oguni-kusu.
Enter the Oguni town, go to the direction of Kusu on route No. 387 . Turn right at the sign of "Hagenoyu/Takenoyu.

Access from Kumamoto Airport

Duration: About 2 hours
Get on a Kyushu Sanko Kyushu crossing bus and get off at Kurokawa Onsen bus stop.
(Travel time is about 2 hours , 2 buses a day)

Access from Oita Airport

Duration: About 1 hour 15 minutes
Go towards Fukuoka and Hita on Oita Expressway and get off at kuju IC.
Heading towards the Hosenji Onsen and Oguni, go down south on the National road No.387.
Turn left from the signboard of "Hagenoyu/Takenoyu Onsen” at 600 meters beyond the Nanamagari tunnel.
